So, May Long wasn't too bad aftr all =D

yeah, today was especially good. but I'll start from Friday:

Friday:...well, I cleaned my room a bit...and started reading a bunch of vegetarian magazines. which are totallz epic, by the way. =D and I created an all new work out sheet 'cause i can't find the one my brother made for me. ah well. doesn't matter. Listened to a LOT of music. and had quinoa (keen-wah) and sunflower seeds and raisins and honey and cinnamon for breakfast. yum. and went grocery shopping with my dad.

Saturday: Ate the same breakfast only with milk! I didn't have any moo juice on Friday. then i did my workout along with twenty minutes of jogging on the spot in my living room. =D then i cleaned my room a little more, read some more veg magazines. after supper i went for a walk and met these two super funny kids Devin and Damon. The first thing Devin said to me was 'hey, will you go out with my friend?' They were in about grade seven or eight and thought i was too 'cause I'm short. XD It seemed like we were stalking each other 'cause we kept bumping into each other all night. =D it was fun. I made a really nummy pie for supper last night, too. it had peppers and onions and carrots and broccoli and things in it and cabbage on top. it was delicious. Listened to lots of music.

Sunday (today): Woke up sore from my twenty minutes of jogging plus the two hours of straight walking. ...still sore XD anyways, had two pieces of rye bread and an apple for breakfast. did my workout plus ten minutes of jogging on the spot again. eventually ate lunch (about 3:00 =D) It was a yummy greek salad. yay. then i slept for about two hours. on my couch which is super comfy. then i went on facebook to find that my newly anointed (though not legally) sister, my brother's girlfriend, is getting a free extra ticket for shambalha and that my brother also probably is. I FREAKED so intensely that i could hardly stand my self. =D so i went and sat in a tree for an hour. That was one of the most beautiful experiences ever and thus deserves it's own paragraph. XD which i will get to in a moment. I listened to a lot of music today, too. XD I love music. I'm listening to music now. Xavier Rudd, to be specific. you guys should totally listen to Xavier Rudd if you don't already. he's amazing.

anyway, about the tree. So, i go sit in this tree and it's extremely windy so at first I'm thinking 'WTQ am i doing? it's uber windy and I'm sitting two thirds the way up a tree!' needless to say i was a little frightened at first. but eventually i learned that if you close your eyes you can hardly feel the tree moving. so i sat hugging the tree with my eyes closed for probably twenty minutes before an incredibly beautiful set of thoughts came to me. they went something like this:

What if i became a part of the tree? my legs could grow out into branches and a branch could come out of my head. and where my hands are clasped could be another. and my body could just become a big knot in the trunk. or i could suddenly blow away like a million little seeds and grow into a million trees. and feel as all those trees and be part of a great entangled root system through the earth. and feel all the things that a tree feels and live completely as a tree. Or i could climb down right now and plant roots and throw my arms up to be branches and point my face to the sky and let it become a par of the tree. but people would know it was me if they looked at it and they would all know about the beautiful transformation i went through...

it was the most beautiful set of thoughts i can ever remember having. absolutely amazing. and i think it could happen if i stayed holding the tree for long enough. I'd just start sliding into the tree and my nerves would become a part of the plant's and i would turn into just more branches. or maybe be pulled inside and turned into nutrients to be shot out to the very tips of every branch and leaf and root and infuse the entire thing. it'd be amazing. I sometimes wish i was dryad...i usually wish that, actually. or maybe a naiad...or any sort of nymph, really.

anyways, it's been an amazing weekend all around 'cause i didn't have to go to Mulhurst with my dad and I got instead to try and become one with a tree. and i almost seemed to have gotten it, too. i was quite close to getting inside of how a tree really feels...if only i could have stopped shivering =) better luck next time, i guess.
